Control number or the Enquiry Control Number (ECN) is the unique number against which the credit reports of any person in the database are saved.
What is ShuleSoft Control Number?
Is a unique reference number assigned to each invoice or payment processed through ShuleSoft’s Accounting Module. This allows for easy tracking and identification of specific transactions.
How does Control Number created in the system?
When accountant create invoice for student in ShuleSoft System, the Control Number will automatically be generated in the specific invoice.
How do parent get the Control Number?
There are two ways parent get their control number;
- Through ShuleSoft Parent Experience App
- Through messages sent by a school acountant
How can I pay School Fees using Control Number?
You can use this Control Number to pay through three different ways;
- Through your Mobile Banking App provided by your BANK
- Through BANK agent (WAKALA)
- Alternatively, you can visit your nearest BANK directly.
How long does this control number remain valid before it expires?
The ShuleSoft Control Number remains valid for the entire academic year.
When I pay through an agent, do I need to bring the receipt back to the school?
It’s advisable to keep a record of your payments. While the school may occasionally request it, it’s not strictly necessary since payments are automatically recorded in the system.
Can I pay school fees using the control number for an amount less than the full fee?
Yes, you can make a partial payment by adjusting the preset amount and entering the specific amount you have.
If I pays school fees without using the control number, what happens? Will I still have outstanding debt?
No, your payment hasn’t been lost. If you happen to pay fees through regular means without using the control number, you’ll need to submit the receipt to the school’s accounting office. They will then record the payment in the system. There’s a feature that allows the accountant to input payments made outside the control number.
Can the system generate receipts for TRA?
Yes, you can generate TRA receipts with a scannable QR code.
